Santa (or my sister) was especially good to me this year. Wrapped under my tree this year was the watch I had been lusting after. Normally, I'm not a watch wearer and rely heavily on my cell phone, but I figured it was time for an upgrade.

PLAID IS RAD!

Anyhoo, I picked up this plaid caplet on Monday, while doing/starting some last minute Christmas shopping. It made me feel like the Little Red Riding Hood, who went to Scotland and all she got was a lousy, scratch that, awesome plaid jacket.

Now I know everyone knows of fabulous sites like Ruelala, Gilt Groupe, and HauteLook, but Groupon is definitely a site worth checking into.

Everyday, Groupon has amazing deals for things ranging from dance classes to massages. (I just purchased the massage pictured above) The only catch is that in order to receive these steals, a certain amount of people have to purchase them or else the deal is off.

While Christmas shopping this week, I went to Zara to pick up my sister's gift and got a little sidetracked by this little piece.

Now, I'm sure I'm in the minority, but does anyone else find Zara to be a bit overpriced?

(Oh, and apologies for having to see my gross mirror. I suppose some Windex is in order.)

Banana Republic skirt and shirt

Whenever I wear this skirt, I'm often found twirling or being prepared for large gushes of wind. Wind I'm onto you.

Last time I wore this skirt, I was walking with one of my coworkers and suddenly I was surrounded by darkness. Yes, basically, my skirt had blown up over my head. This was followed by clapping. It is never a dull moment.

Literally, I bought this shirt from Forever 21 about 7 years ago! And even though it's way too short to actually wear with jeans or anything normal, it's the perfect size to tuck into skirts for work. Yay!
